Business As Usual
As news continually develops around the spread of Covid-19 our priority remains the safeguarding of children, young people and adults at risk, as well as the safety of our colleagues, customers and partners. We are continuing to carefully monitor the situation and we are following all Governmental and NHS guidelines on the matter.
With the confirmed closure of schools and other organisations and the need for social distancing we want to reassure you that we have a well-established Business Continuity Plan that has been activated and there is currently no impact on our infrastructure, network or operations. We have planned extensively for all foreseeable scenarios and we are well prepared to continue our service during this time.
MyConcern has an experienced Information Security Team that is monitoring and managing the situation as it evolves
We have provided equipment and planned to ensure all employees are able to work remotely
We operate to the ISO 27001:2013 standard where all identified critical business functions have proven business continuity plans which are reviewed, exercised and tested annually
Access to MyConcern Safeguarding Software
MyConcern Safeguarding Software is cloud-based so you will continue to have access to the platform as long as you have access to an internet-enabled device (including the MyConcern Mobile App).
Our award-winning Customer Support Team remains fully functional and we will always strive to offer you our usual high level of service.
We are taking extra special care of everyone in our team to ensure that they have the best possible information and we are supporting both their professional and personal needs during this unprecedented period.
Many people in our team have backgrounds in policing, health, education and social care with extensive experience of dealing with major incidents, public health emergencies and business continuity. Being ISO 27001 certified also means that we have planned and stress-tested our systems and processes.
All of our staff are working from home so customers, partners and suppliers should not visit our offices until further notice. We have extensive facilities for online working and e-conferencing and this is how we will be operating for the foreseeable future.
We will continue to monitor the situation as the UK Government releases more information and guidance and will provide further updates as and when necessary.
